More Avon Products

A few months ago I did a blog post on some nail varnishes I bought from Avon. Before that I had never used any Avon products but now I have started ordering from the company every now and then so I thought I would do a update and review of everything I have bought.

Nail Varnishes
I won't talk about these too much as I did a post before about them which I will link here. They are lovely colours and make a really nice effect on my nails but they don't last long before they chip, however I have found a way around that; apply a top coat of clear nail varnish over the top of the polish then run the brush along the end of your nail, that should seal the nail varnish.

Colortrend concealer
This is a stick form concealer I am the shade light, like most concealer the more you apply the more coverage you get and the stronger it will cover and conceal. I think this cost me £2.50 so really not much and I really like it. It blends in well, when I come to take my make up off at then end of they day it is in almost the exact same condition, it doesn't wear much making it long lasting. This concealer has become a key piece in my make up collection.

Big & false lash Mascara
This mascara is meant to be a dupe of the Benefit their real mascara but I don't think their alike at all, not one bit which is what it is advertised to be. However I do love the mascara though it makes my lashes really big.  A down side to it is I have found over the time I have had it it dries out a lot faster than my other mascaras and that it is now very clumpy which it wasn't before. I am very fussy about the brushes on mascara as if I don't like the brush I won't like the mascara all together; I do really love this one though which is really good.

The 5 product face

Spring is here so the minimal make up is starting. Today I am going to pick my five go to product that I will be keeping hold of this spring to give myself a pretty glowy make up look especially in the heat  of the spring and summer months.

Kiko colour sphere eye shadow - in the shade number 18. This is the most beautiful gold/brown sparkle colour. It is the eye shadow I tend to use most days but where it has a bit of sparkle to it, I find it always looks like I've made an effort when I really haven't.  This is from Kiko and it cost me £3.40 so it is on the drug store end of the scale.

Rimmel wake me up concealer - I have this in the shade 010 ivrory and it the best drugstore concealer I have used and I would take that over some high end concealers. It conceals very well, covers all sports and blemishes. It makes me look very awake and glowy. I bought it in boots for £5.49

Rimmel Kate Rockin curves Mascara -  This is a newly loved product but I have developed a love for this mascara and the way it makes my lashes look so full and long. I was very silly and picked it up in blue my accident but it is such a dark blue, like a navy blue colour it doesn't show that bad; I actually quite like the colour. I bought it again in Boots for £7.49

Tanya Burr Lip gloss - I have this in the colour Lunch date and I think is the most beautiful spring colour ever! It's not too harsh on my lips but it's looks so adorable and adds the most lovely tint to your lips. I got this in Superdrug and it costed me £5.99

EOS lip balm - I know I already have one lip product but this is the best lip prep ever. It makes my lips so smooth and not chapped at all. All you would ever want out of a lip balm. I have the pomegranate raspberry flavor which is £6.50 in boots.
